This is a RWD car, 2.3 litre 4 cyl. supercharged FI. very efficient powerful engine, 5spd. automatic trans. independent rear suspension. Nothing leaks or drips out of this car at all from engine bay, transmission, & differential. and the under-chassis is as clean as can be. still original exhaust system, al the fluids in the car are clean as can be, just performed a mobil 1 oil and filter change with beck arnley filter, new centric low dust front brake pads, i have the take-offs they were new but OE mercedes pads and keep the wheels black with brake dust. new bosch front oxygen sensor and codes cleared and no check engine light. tires have less than 2,000 miles, are date coded 2023, are toyo extensa hp 205/55-16. aluminum wheels are very clean, zero corrosion , most all paint appears original, car has clearly been garaged condition of paint is perfect, almost no dings/dents.
This is a electric/hydraulic mechanical roof car (no soft convertible top) i put the roof down last fall and now it wont go up! i have not had it diagnosed as to the trouble and will not, top was up when i bought it and went down perfectly but now wont go up, is never an issue for me as i garage the car and only drive on nice days.
Interior of this car is in very good condition, leather is fine, some black discoloration on plastic interior panels visible, A/C and heater work as they should, OE radio is long gone though there is a very high end kenwood KDC-X500 reciever with a seperate sirius/xm reciever that was working last time i checked. the oe multi-disc cd changer is still in the trunk. also everything in the trunk is extremely clean. have the original owners packet with all the books, no previous service history on paper, though lots of service history in the car fax. two original key fobs. clean AZ title in my name ready to go,
This car goes down the road perfectly, trans shifts are perfect, rear axle quiet, no rattles or noises, fuel mileage appears to be very good i never checked it, power is incredible considering its 21 years old, and lets be frank this is not a perfect car but much nicer than most all others and way under value as i can tell at this time-frame. and i am certain i have forgotten something but i described this thing as best i know how. when you see the car it shows. i was a car person all my life but now at almost 70 i need to sell something, i have 4 cars and a bike and no room left.
