   I found teacher assist tutors, resources, support and feedback to be phenomenal. My tutor gave me constructive feedback throughout the course and encouraged me when I was behind. The staff are very professional and all submitted assignments were marked in 2 days with constructive feedback. The portal is easy to use and your supporting materials are very comprehensive and useful.

I found that the most valuable part of the course was learning about theorists because it was interesting. Some areas within the assignments seemed repetitive however, this was not an issue of Teacher Assist but the course specification.

   I would recommend this course. Analyzing in detail my practice as a teacher and having to explain what I do and how I do it to someone has been very valuable and has given me a perspective that has helped me grow The structure of the course makes it flow and it is easy to see a connection between the units.     I have thoroughly enjoyed studying the level 5 diploma in Education and Training. As the course allowed me to set my own pace I was able to fit in studying around my full time instructing position, as well as being a mother and wife, completing the course in just 12 months.     The support throughout the course was very good; there were several emails throughout the course to keep up-to-date with progress.

    Feedback and the team support was the most valuable part. I always looked forward to both Marie and Hannah’s feedback, they were both constructive and supportive.
    It has been invaluable experience and enjoyable learning journey omitting personal issues.     Overall, I found all aspects of the course to be of value in terms of enhancing my teaching. Constructive feedback given via my tutor was very helpful, that of which enabled me to carry out work methodically regarding amending assignments where errors were made.     I would like to recommend Teacher Assist to anyone who wants to undertake the DET Level 5. Marie and Hannah provided me with regular constructive feedback on how to write down my assignments in order to meet the different pass criterias. Whenever I called looking for guidelines on a new assignment, Afua with her busy schedule would find time to help me with my queries. Stephanie is equally effective in her role in helping me whenever I call or email her. So I thank you all for all your patience and support.

    I have just completed the Education & Training Level 5 qualification with Teacher Assist. There are lots of assignments that need to be completed for this course, with each topic requiring a good amount of research. The resources available on the e-learning platform are well organised and informative, providing a good starting point for this research. The tutors that assess the assignments also provide good support via phone and email if more guidance is needed, such as recommending further research or signposting to specific information that will help to overturn referrals. There is also clear guidance on how to submit assignments through the e-learning platform. For the practical element of the course (teaching observations), I was able to include some internal staff at my place of employment, as they were suitably qualified and experienced to fulfil this role.

    I found using teacher assist very easy and supportive in completing my level 5 Diploma as it provided me with the flexibility of working at my own pace around my current commitments.

    The layout of course material was easy to navigate and understand and the criteria required to pass clearly stated for each module and assignment.

    The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training is a wonderful well run course teamed by professionals who ensure that you are kept updated and informed throughout the course. It is tough to study part time, but Teacher Assist ensures you are supported through out your journey.     I have found the staff (Stephanie and Hannah, my tutor) very helpful and punctual with their replies to me throughout the course. There feedback and guidance has helped me a lot.

    I think the work load is a good amount however I would say that the layout of the assignments and Acs needs to be proof read or changed as it can be confusing on not only the expectancy of the Acs but the word count too.

    I was looking for an online DET course to upgrade my existing teaching qualification. Teacher Assist had excellent reviews and offered the course at a good price, so they seemed a safe bet. Signing up for the course was easy, and accessing the assignments and resources was very easy. There were around twenty-nine assignments, but the resources and reading lists made this a manageable number. This worked well for me as I prefer writing essays to doing large numbers of smaller tasks as some online courses require. It helped to give a sense of achievement and progress. Marking and feedback from Hannah, my tutor, was quick and useful.

    I have learnt a lot from this course and have developed as a teacher. It is hard work, but with the support of people at the company, especially Hannah, Afua and Stephanie, I have achieved the qualification and would recommend this to anyone looking for an online DET course.

    I cannot thank the whole team at Teacher Assist enough for supporting me through my DET course. I was let down badly by my previous company but Teacher Assist stepped in, restored my confidence and delivered a successful learning experience. Before taking me on as a student they fully reviewed my work to ensure they could deliver what I required. Teacher Assist then reformatted my whole portfolio into their format and gave me clear guidelines of further work that I needed to do to meet the course requirements to their standard.     Brilliant support while completing the course. A tutor was only an email away and you can complete the course at your own pace. I highly recommend Teacher Assist. Paperwork was received to use during the course. Quick and friendly feedback from the tutors. All marked within the time frame.
    The course allowed me to work at my own pace and fit assignments round my work placement in school. The tutor was very prompt and helpful with responses when I required assistance with coursework. Very good and recommend it.
