Instead, the literal founding father issued a challenge that finally brought the fahsion-based sudser back to the runway.</p> <p>We probably didn’t even have to show you<em>General Hospital</em>‘s Lois, let alone her infamous — and always gorgeous — talons. Let’s face it… there weren’t even any other contenders in this category!</p> <p>Sure, we get why<em>General Hospital</em>decided it might be fun to use Ethan in mom Holly’s storyline. What we don’t get is why in the world they made him blond… and then wrote him off a few days later!</p> <p>Did<em>Days of Our Lives</em>hope that giving Leo’s beau an inexplicably bad haircut would make us miss portrayer Peter Porte less when he was written off? Because if so, it didn’t work.</p> <p>For a while there,<em>Young & Restless</em>‘ Victoria and Nate managed to do a pretty good job of blending their work and personal lives. It actually worked… until it didn’t!</p> <p>We knew that ultimately, nothing would come of the pairing. Yet it was more fun than we could have imagined watchingCharlie and Esther flirt when her<em>Young & Restless</em>character visited his<em>Bold & Beautiful</em>workplace.</p> <p>Everything about the on-screen memorial for<em>General Hospital</em>‘s Epiphany was beautiful, serving as a fitting tribute to her portrayer, the late Sonya Eddy.</p> <p>It can’t have been easy for Emily O’Brien to be told, “Surprise! You’re not <em>Days of Our Lives</em>‘ Gwen anymore, you’re Theresa — and sometimes still Gwen.” But the actress has risen to the challenge with admirable aplomb.</p> <p>When<em>Young & Restless</em>‘ Phyllis arrives upon the scene — and we’re talking pretty much any scene — you know it. This is not a woman who casually enters. Instead, Michelle Stafford makes her alter ego the kind of woman who demands you pay attention, because, whether sipping coffee or spilling the tea, every move she makes will be fascinating to watch.</p> <p>One look at the blood on Eric’s hankerchief, and we knew<em>Bold & Beautiful</em>‘s Forrester patriarch had more than a simple cold!</p> <p>As huge fans of Roger Howarth, we were disappointed in just how little thought the writers seemed to put into his latest<em>General Hospital</em>character. From the awkward name to the lack of clear motivation, Austin was such a fail that there was almost no fan outcry when he was murdered. (It’s worth noting that to this day, we still don’t know who killed the character!)</p> <p>Turns out we aren’t the only ones who kinda love when<em>The Young and the Restless</em>‘ Nikki falls off the wagon. Portrayer <a href="https://soaps.sheknows.com/the-young-and-the-restless/news/718528/melody-thomas-scott-nikki-memories-interview/" target="_blank">Melody Thomas Scott admitted to us</a> she’s always found it “so much fun to play drunk,” adding that fans have always cited tipsy Nikki as their favorite version of the character!</p> <p>Whether you call him Leo, Lady Whistleblower or even Matthew, one thing you’re sure to get is a response that will make you blush like a virgin at a sexy party. When it comes to quipping, nobody does it better than this<em>Days of Our Lives</em>troublemaker.</p> <p>How long has <em>Young & Restless’</em> Tucker been back in Genoa City, and we’re still waiting for the supposed mover and shaker to make something, anything, actually happen!</p> <p>Occasionally, someone on<em>Bold & Beautiful</em>remembers to insert a line about how dangerous Sheila is. But the fact that Li pushed the former supervillain’s face into a plate of pasta and suffered zero consequences tells us Sheila’s not nearly the threat she once was.</p> <p>Despite being one of the most popular pairings on the<em>General Hospital</em>canvas, Spencer and Trina were relegated if not to the back burner, certainly to one which generated far less heat than this couple had the potential for producing. This would prove especially egregious when he — and portrayer Nicholas Alexander Chavez — exited in 2024.</p> <p>Sloan stealing Nicole’s baby has worked amazingly well because, while it’s almost exactly what Nicole did to Sami, that knowledge has given this<em>Days of Our Lives</em>tale a great twist: Nicole fully believed her baby to be alive despite everyone else thinking she was crazy!</p> <p>Truth be told, we’d completely forgotten that decades back,<em>General Hospital</em>‘s Tracy and Scott were — however briefly — an item. So when Lucy suggested he try to rekindle that long-extinguished flame, we were thrilled by not only the reminder but the accompanying flashbacks!</p> <p>Despite having liked Daniel and Lily the first time around, their <em>Young & Restless</em>reunion has bowled us over. Between the natural chemistry shared by portrayers Michael Graziadei and Christel Khalil and their charmingly low-key but relatable scenes, we couldn’t have been more in love with the couple… until he went and cheated with Heather!</p> <p>We’ll be the first to admit that there have been times when we’ve wanted a bit of a break from <em>Bold & Beautiful</em>‘s Liam. But just when it appeared the always-awesome Scott Clifton was going to get to show the character’s more villainous side was not one of those times!</p> <p><em>General Hospita</em>l really turned viewers around after their initial lukewarm reception to Cody. In saving Sasha, he might have saved himself as well!</p> <p>While <em>Days of Our Lives </em>viewers were initially dismayed at Alex being Victor’s secret son, the show gave fans what they really wanted by revealing that Xander is the true heir!</p> <p>He came, he saw, he terrorized, he died. Cameron Kirsten may not have stuck around long, but thanks to an intense performance by Linden Ashby, the<em>Young & Restless</em>bad guy’s return was a whole lot of fun.</p> <p>Apparently, if Ridge doesn’t want Taylor, then<em>Bold & Beautiful</em>fans can’t have her either. Despite a wildly-devoted fanbase, an Emmy nomination and a desperate need for her on the canvas, Taylor was shoved onto the backburner and eventually, along with portrayer Krista Allen, sent packing.</p> <p>Not only did <em>General Hospital</em> bring back Rena Sofer as Lois, it shortly thereafter gave us a Thanksgiving arc featuring Ellen Travolta as Mama Cerullo.</p> <p>We didn’t think for a moment that <em>Bold & Beautiful</em> would really kill off Eric, but it did a bang-up job of scaring us to death.</p> <p>We can only assume that<em>Days of Our Lives</em>‘ Johnny looks as if he’s trying hard not to laugh aloud because Chanel just whispered, “Ok, don’t be obvious, but check out the guy over there. Is that a wig? Don’t look! Ok, now you can look.”</p> <p>Yes,<em>Days of Our Lives’</em>Maggie saw the good in Victor… but never once was she fooled into thinking him someone he wasn’t. So we didn’t buy for a moment that she’d fall for the ridiculously transparent manipulations of Konstantin!</p> <p>Although Gloria’s family wasn’t particularly thrilled when she swanned into town for Thanksgiving,<em>Young & Restless</em>fans ate her all-too-brief appearance up.</p> <p>As<em>Bold & Beautiful</em>‘s Eric lay on his deathbed, he was visited by none other than his late wife, Stephanie. Although we’d have understood if he’d opted to stay with her in paradise, Eric eventually turned away from the light in order to be with the family he loves.</p>
