This Hogwarts Legacy Guide explains how to help Logdok, the goblin you met in Boar's Head, to find the Helmet of Urtkot. This complete walkthrough includes the Collector's Cave and the Bandits Camp.

What this quest is about: Logdok has told you that the helmet he wants to find is a sacred goblin relic that a witch stole several years ago. He suspects that the helmet is in the tomb of the said witch and asks you to help him. After you have promised him your help, you follow him to the collector's cave, which should take you to the witch's tomb.

Through the Collector's Cave to the Witch's Tomb

You enter the collector's cave and follow the path that ends in front of a locked door, which makes you turn into the corridor you find to the left of the locked door. At the end of the corridor, you will find yourself at a dead end, seeing a moth flying around a statue. Now let it follow you, as in the pictureless frame puzzle, with the help of Lumos.

Lead it to the door and clear Lumos, whereupon the moth takes to its place at the door and the door opens. Behind this door is a room where you can collect some items and coins. Then exit this room on the other side and follow the path to a chamber, that has a coffin made of stone in its middle.

The door of this room is locked and must be equipped with three moths to open. You can find two moths already in this chamber and put them in their place on the door by using Lumos. The third moth is behind a door, in a separate room. Open the door with Depulso and bring this moth to its place on the closed door, too, to open the door.

After opening the door, go through and follow the corridor along into the next room – but beware! There are several skeletons here that will attack you. Defeat them and loot the room.

Hidden Alcove

On the four pillars, you see standing in this room, there are four small pillars, with a bowl on top. Light all four with Incendio to open a niche on the right side of the room, from which you will gain additional loot.

Now follow the passage leading out of this room into the next room. Bring a moth into the middle of the room, to the moth-like key, and operate it with Depulso, whereupon a small pedestal comes out of the floor, which allows you to get into the higher alcove. When the small pedestal goes down again, stand on it and use Depulso again to make it go up like before. Loot the alcove and lead all the moths on the locked door to move on.

Bonus Chest by Skull Puzzle

Get out of the door, and you see a path on the left, that will continue your Quest, but if you go up the wall on the right side, you will find an extra room. If you took the corridor, that was up the wall, on your right, you'll end up standing in a room on the opposite side of a treasure chest.

Turn to the left and destroy the skeleton pile with your normal spell, then pull it towards you with Accio. Take the flying pile of bones to one of the skeletons, that is standing where a bridge must have been, and stop using Accio, which should complete the skeleton and create a half-bridge. To complete the bridge, you'll have to pull the hook on the other side with Accio toward you.

A bunch of bone pieces will fall out of the wall, which you again pull with Accio, and then lead them to the skeleton at the bridge. The skeleton will assemble, and a complete bridge of bones will appear, which you can now use to go to the chest and open it.

Further Along the Original Path

After this small stopover, you go back to the point, where you turned right to the bonus puzzle, and take the other way, to continue the path, to the next room, where you will see something hanging from the ceiling. Destroy the anchor and let it fall down, to break the ground.

But before you jump through the hole in the floor, turn to the closed door and open it with Depulso. Go inside, where you will be facing two high alcoves and a box that you are able to move. Move the box in front of the alcove you want to climb up to and then go ups to get your rewards.

Now jump through the hole in the floor and follow a path. It doesn't matter which path you take, cause one of them leads back to the room you have been coming from, and the other one leads to the next room. When you've taken the path that led back, and you're standing in front of a closed door, pull the hook to your right with Accio, which will open it, to let you try again.

An Exhausting Moth Puzzle

Follow the path to the next room, where skeletons are already waiting for you. Defeat the skeletons and then concentrate on the new moth puzzle. Take one of the two moths you can see on the ground floor of the room and place one of them on the spinning moth vase.

Operate the Moth Vase with Depulso and look where a pedestal rises and falls. Position yourself looking at the moth vase on the pedestal, and use Depulso to let it go up. Move to your left, the second, the pedestal reaches the same height as the first floor. The more you fire Depulso at the moth vase, the higher the pedestal will go up – but it still keeps going down. Walk into the passage into a room, where you hollow out the moth with Lumos. Just before the gap of the pedestal, there is one of those things on which you can set the moths down, which you do with this moth now.

Use Depulso to get the pedestal up again, and use Lumos to make the moth follow you, then jump off the pedestal to get to the other side (the right side, if you are facing the moth vase again). Now you lead your moth to the corresponding door and let it takes its place. You will find the next moth, that you need for the said door, right next to it, in a niche in the wall. Now go back down to the last moth, which you have to get from an opening in the wall. Bring it to the column shown in the picture and go back up over the pedestal.

Position yourself at the edge of the first floor from which you can see the column, and the moth vase. Now shoot Depulso at the moth vase again, to let the pedestal rise, which also lets the column go up. Once the column is high enough, use Lumos and take the moth to its place on the door so that it opens. Follow the path into the witch's tomb, where you can loot. Since the helmet is not in the tomb, go back to Logdok to get new instructions.

Urtkots Helmet in the Bandit Camp in Hogwarts Legacy

Since the helmet was no longer in the witch's tomb, it must have been stolen. Follow the directions on your map to the small bandit camp to look for Urtkot's helmet there. Of course, in the camp are several enemies waiting for you, that you have to defeat first. Loot the camp and get the helmet from the building on the other side of the bridge, as shown in the picture. As soon as you collect the helmet, you will be attacked once again by a group of bandits. Defeat them and bring the helmet to Logdok to complete this quest.
