Işık University, which was founded with 134 years of culture of Feyziye Schools Foundation, has a modern infrastructure, classrooms, dormitories, libraries, social and sports facilities, and art gallery. Şile Campus was built on an area of 490,000 m2 and Maslak Campus is in the center of Istanbul business world. serves. Işık University has been providing education for 24 years and has 7500 students.
Işık University offers 27 associate degree programs at 2 vocational schools, 25 undergraduate programs at 5 faculties, 32 master’s and 6 doctoral programs at 2 institutes. Also, there are 8 research and application centres at the university.
According to the QS EECA 2019 university rankings, Işık University is among the top 250 universities.

There are modern classrooms, laboratories, art centres, libraries and dormitories for 1600 people on the Şile campus. In addition to its strong international connections and exchange programs, it cooperates with approximately 104 institutions from 28 countries including the USA, Canada and many European universities.
Academic staff consists of people who are very good in their jobs and are experts in their fields. In addition, the management prioritizes transparency and ensures that students are effective. In the participatory education system, the Student Council is represented in the highest rank University Senate.
The university has a total of 47 student clubs and these clubs aim to help students share, take responsibility, make individual decisions and also assist them in their personal development.
In addition to the rich sports fields and activities on the campus, the university has more than 20 sports teams. Indoor gyms, pools, fitness centres and more are available to students throughout the year. Since its establishment, the university has been continuing its art activities as well as academic studies. Theatre, musical, Philharmonic Orchestra concerts, exhibitions, culture and art activities are presented to students and art lovers throughout the year, while ensuring that students are intensely involved in art activities.
24/7 service is provided in the university library, which has a seating capacity of 520 people. The library contains 520,000 e-books, 60,000 printed books, and 56,000 electronic periodicals.
