She was the daughter of the late Theodosia Wilson Dunbar and Means Curtis Dunbar and the wife of the late Har- vey LeRoy Atwater, the GOP strategist and for- mer Republican National Committee chairman. Sally was a committed educator from a young age.

She earned her in Elementary and Special Education from Winthrop University and continued her studies, completing her Mas- degree in Special Edu- cation there while simulta- neously working as a special needs teacher. In 1978, Sally and Lee Atwater wed in her hometown of Union, SC. In 1990, husband Lee was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor of which he succumbed to in 1991. Sally was left to raise her three girls, Sara Lee (10 Ashley Page (5 and Sally T. (11 by herself.

She was able get through the toughest years relying on her family, friends, and unwavering faith in the Lord. After raising her three girls, she served under Pres- ident George W. Bush as his executive director for the Committee for the People with Intellectual Disabilities which she successfully lob- bied to be renamed from its former title The Committee for People with Mental Retardation. She returned to South Carolina from Washington in 2012 where she worked as a spe- cial education teacher and later ran for State Superin- tendent of Education, a race which she narrowly lost. Mrs.

Atwater was an ac- tive member of the Capitol City Republican Club and the Richland Coun- ty Republican Party. She also served as an at-large delegate to the Republican Nation- al Convention from South Carolina in 2016. She volun- teered regularly doing door to door campaign work for the Republican party and act- ed as a poll watcher for the Charleston County Republi- can party on election day in 2016. Mrs. Atwater was commit- ted and beloved member of her country, community and family.

She will be remembered with great love by her three daughters, Sara Lee Atwa- ter (Dieter De Vlieghere), Ashley Atwater Vazana (Nis Vazana), and Sally Atwater McLeod (Rob McLeod); her brother, Curtis Dunbar (Son- ja Dunbar); grandchildren, Evelyn, Arthur, Aviv and a forthcoming grandson arrival in April; mother-in-law, Tod- dy Atwater; and sister-in- law, Anne King (Ken King). She was predeceased in death by her husband, Harvey Le- Roy Atwater. A private graveside ser- vice will be held. Elizabeth was the grand- daughter of Dr. James C. and Freddie Gammage Dudley (d) and Isaac Hobart (d) and Dorothy DuPree Grimball (d). Elizabeth attended Dreher High School in Columbia, S.C.

and later graduated after the rich adventure of travel- ing the United States with her Mother in homeschool and visiting Paris with her grand- parents. These experiences established her lifelong love of traveling and dining! Elizabeth never met a French pastry she love and she was a huge fan of tasting menus. Her safari adventure with her mother in Africa in 2017 was the trip of a life- time. Elizabeth loved helping other people. She volun- teered for several years at Brennan Elementary School in Columbia, the Washington Street soup kitchen, Meals on Wheels, and the Purse.

She also loved ani- mals, especially her Malte- poos, Molly and Muffin. She volunteered at S.C. Wildlife Rescue, lovingly cradling tiny fragile birds and injured forest creatures in her beau- tiful hands. She also volun- teered at Animal Clinic. Elizabeth enjoyed craft- ing, bible journaling, playing cards, and board games, do- ing puzzles with her Mother, going to concerts and Disney family nights.

Elizabeth left an indeli- ble stamp on so many in her short 31 years on this earth. She was thoughtful, witty, and bore her burdens with the utmost grace and cour- age. Elizabeth inspired all who knew her. Among the countless people who will remember her with love and admiration are her parents; her grandfather, Dr. James Dudley; her sister, Leila Schaefer, and brother-in-law, Dylan, and her special loves, nephews Hank and Grey; her stepmother, Katy Cowan; her Uncle Bill and Aunt Paige Dudley and cousins, Carley, Ansleigh, and Macon; her Uncle Gatewood Dudley; and close friends Tino, Janice, and Nikki.

fami- ly expresses heartfelt thanks to the countless friends who have loved and supported her and the entire family for many years. Her family so appreciates the care of the many medical professionals who cared for her over her life, and for the kindness of her Hospice nurses, Denise, Robbie and Tina. Elizabeth Calloway Grimball September 5, 1989 March 10, 2021 Irmo, South Carolina The funeral service for Mrs. Jessie Bradley Bellamy, 92, of Irmo will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 13, 2021, in the Mausole- um Chapel of Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia SC 29212. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. prior to the funeral in the mausoleum chapel. Entombment will follow in Bush River Me- morial Gardens Mausoleum.

The Reverend Ron Rhodes will officiate. Mrs. Bellamy was born September 24, 1928, in West Columbia and passed away at the Heritage at Lowman on March 10, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Bradley and Iceoline Lowman Bradley. Jessie was a former member at Col- lege Place and Salem United Methodist Churches and at- tended the Family Worship Center in Irmo.

Mrs. Bel- lamy retired from Southern Bell after 24 years of faithful service. Survivors include daugh- ter, Gloria Hawkins (Bill) of Irmo; sons, Ralph E. Bella- my (Catherine) of Irmo and David D. Bellamy of Colum- bia; grandchildren, Wendy Hawkins, Matthew Bellamy and Mandy Bellamy; and brother, James Bradley of South Congaree.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, John Bellamy; and brother, John Henry Bradley. Martin passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland. He received his degree from Florida State University and his of Education from the Uni- versity of South Carolina. He retired from Lower Richland High School after 27 years of service as vice-principal. He enjoyed hunting, on the Matanzas inlet, reading, and cooking. Surviving are his daughter, Taylor Martin of France; his mother, Warner Martin of Palm Coast, mother of his daughter, Hillary Martin of Blythewood; his brother, Kevin Wheeless Martin of Bluffton, S.C.; his sisters, Meredith Martin Davis (Jim) of Palm Coast, Fla.

and May- er Warner Martin his nephew, Jake Baker (Tracy Bacigalupo); and his nieces, Alden Baker (Mandy Kiser), Caroline Gardner and Claire Gardner. He was prede- ceased by his father, William James Martin and his sis- ter, Alison Fairey Martin. William Martin February 13, 1959 March 8, 2021 Jacksonville Beach, Flor- ida Jeremy Willis, 41, of Jacksonville Beach, Fl went home to heaven on March 4, 2021. Born in Jack- sonville, FL to Holly and Larry Willis. He received his undergraduate degree at Uni- versity of North Florida, and then obtained his degree from Trinity Evangel- ical Divinity School.

He ded- icated his life to serving the Lord in full time ministry in South Carolina. On March 4, 2006, he married his tiful Misti Hammons Willis. Together they built a family of two daughters, Ella and Caroline and a son, Jere- my. Shea was known for his love for Jesus and his magnetic personality. He loved people deeply but above all he adored his wife, children, family and friends.

Shea was a Gator fan, loved hiking, camping, disc golf, and adventures with his fam- ily and students. Shea was preceded in death by his dad, Larry. He is survived by his wife Misti, his three children Ella, Caro- line, and Jeremy, his momma Holly, his grandmother Ros- ie, his sister Leah and many other beloved family mem- bers. Shea is a hero to his family and loved by all who knew him! A memorial will be held in his hometown of Jackson- ville Beach, FL this Satur- day, March 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunrise Community Church.

Jeremy Willis June 23, 1979 March 4, 2021 Lexington, South Caroli- na Nancy Jean Driskell, 67, of Lexington, SC gained her heavenly wings on Monday, March 8, 2021 at her home. She was born on Novem- ber 6, 1953 on the island of Bermuda. Nancy was the daughter of Earl Palmer Driskell and the late Beverly Draper Driskell. She went to Airport High School in Cayce, SC. She graduated from University of South Carolina and became a Registered Nurse that fo- cused primarily on working in the operating room.

She traveled around the country serving others as a travel nurse and then made it back home to work and retire from the Lexington hospital. She was always the life of the party and brought laughter and joy to everyone around her. Nancy is survived by her father, Earl Palmer Driskell her brother, Joseph Edwin Driskell her son, Dylan Palmer Robin- son and multiple nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Beverly Draper Driskell and sister, Claudia Annette Driskell. Nancy is dearly loved by her family and the many friends that entered and be- came part of her life.

Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Lucius Alvin Roof and Fe- licia Butler Moss Roof. A graduate of High School, he attended Uni- versity of South Carolina in Business Administration. Al- vin was the founder and pres- ident of Galaxy Boat Manu- facturing in Columbia, SC. He was a member of Spring Valley Country Club and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, Columbia. Alvin was an avid golfer, an SC saltwater and an avid UofSC Gameco*ck fan, following the football team on all of the out of town games for many years.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Jan Roof; son, Rev. Wm. Alvin Roof; daughter, Merrie Roof, all of Colum- bia; granddaughters, Salley and Carlee; brother, Victor O. Roof, his wife, children, and grandchildren; brother- in-law, Douglas N. Swanson, and nephew, Douglas N.

Swanson, his wife, chil- dren, and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Salley Anne Roof, and sister, Anne Swanson.
