What is the purpose of an art workshop? ›

A workshop's purpose is to teach students to advance the growth of their art; to allow them to evolve further to their own style and sense of self.

Prepare for your workshop. Gather all the materials you'll need and make sure everything is ready to go before your students arrive. It's also a good idea to create a lesson plan or outline so you know exactly what you'll be covering during theworkshop. Welcome your students and get started!

During class, try to find a balance between focusing on your work and listening to your teacher's instructions and feedback.
