Midterm and final exam only. Extra credit opportunities which involve ad deconstructions based on her choice of topic. Not difficult but you need to put in work and effort. EXAMS ARE 75 QUESTIONS IN 75 MINUTES!! very stressful tbh and a little overwhelming. Everything comes directly from the textbook so make sure you have it. She provides notes too

Dr Lewis is the best professor. I have taken 2 of her classes. She is available to her students and responds to emails quickly. She is very caring and understanding. Extra credit is offered. Expect to do a lot of reading. A midterm and a final. 75Q in 75M. Dr Lewis gives you a review before the test, so you know what to expect. She is the BEST!!

Best professor!!!, you won't regret it, lots of opportunities for extra credit. 75 Questions for 75 minutes for Midterm and Final exams may be a lot but it makes sense in a way and can be done, She always provides reviews to do well on the exams. If you take her class you can certainly do well and complete everything on time.

TAKE HER!! She was honestly amazing! She had 2 exams for the semester with plenty of extra credit assignments that you can choose to do if you want. I took a hybrid class so not a lot of attendance. She makes the class entertaining and enjoyable! She's honestly one of my favorite professors in Brooklyn college!

I am still in this class but I had to write a review because Dr Lewis is probably the BEST professor I have ever had so far. Be prepared to read so purchase the textbook. Extra credit is offered. A midterm and a final. 75Q in 75M which sounds insane but the way she grades the test makes sense. Offers test reviews. Such a caring person. The BEST!!

I am not sure why there are so many negative comments about Prof Lewis. Task: attendance essay, midterm and final. 2 extracredit, responsive to all her emails. provided study guide for the midterm and final. though the study guide can be a bit confusing if you break it down and don't understand something just email her and she will respond.

Professor Lewis was pure crap! All of the negative comments are 100% true. She disregarded accommodations requirements and her emails made a mockery of my condition. Avoid this professor. She could care less about her students or teaching.

Truly the definition of a FAIR professor. Graded on midterm, final, & one short paper at the start of semester. Midterm/Final are both 75 questions in 75 minutes, no backtracking. Although this time span is rough, ALL of the questions & answers are generated from the textbook (Not google). DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. It boosted my final grade by 10 pts.

Professor Lewis does not care about her students at all. She is a terrible professor who needs to retire immediately. We only had two exams. 75 questions in 70 minutes. Very hard questions and the review sheet does not help. You must study and remember everything from the textbook. Avoid her at all costs.

This was a fully online course. The professor put 0 effort into this class. All we had is a textbook and her 20 pg notes for each chpt. No lecture was ever provided. We had 2 tests and that was the only thing accounting for our grade. On top of that she would answer the emails very passive aggressively, as if she did anything for this class at all

I never had to worry about this class or falling behind because she gives very few assignments and a midterm and final. She's very accessible outside of class and makes an effort to get to know her students even though her class is asynchronous. Gives LOTS of extra credit, but I did none of it and ended up with an A- anyways. Would take her again!

I failed the midterm and passed the class with a C. reading the book is a must if you want to past. there's only 2 test, do all the extra credits, they come in handy. (don't rely on only studying her review question sheet to pass a test)

Fully online, midterm, final & 1 paper all online. Exams were around 70 MC questions in 75 mins, so its rushed. Most of the qns came from textbook definitions so look in the glossary or search the book for keywords! Easy A if you use the textbook! Shes a lenient grader, most students got full credit for the paper and she offers extra credit too!

I'm a TV major but this class feels heavily weighted in favor of business majors despite qualifying for both. Lewis's lectures aren't always clear and feel more about her personal experience than teaching the basics of advertising. The tests are all about taking facts directly from the textbook, and half the class is online, so it's fairly easy.

Super cool class. Professor Lewis is nice and understanding, and the course is fairly relevant. Textbook is cheap and super helpful. Midterm and final are the only things you are graded on, both are fairly easy. Enjoyed having her as my professor.

She only gives a midterm and final and thats all you are graded on! The study guide is a waste of time, she needs to retire and they need to get someone else to teach that class unfortunately shes the only professor that teaches that class. This class was a waste I didnt learn anything, I wish I would have taken a different class.
