Dr Lewis is great! the first 8 weeks of her class is pretty challenging, but definitely worth it. Once you get past the midterm, it is easy!!! Do NOT be late, she will kick you out. I wish I would have taken more of her classes. I LOVED her holocaust class. She is so knowledgable and passionate about history.

I had both of Dr. Lewis's holocaust and 3rd Riech classes. She is an awesome woman and if you work hard you will get a good grade. Don't miss class (she knows me very well and would chew me out if I missed or was late) even for legitimate reasons. She's brilliant, she always liked me, but she graded me harder because she knew I didn't give 100%

She only teaches like one class a semester but she is great. Our class only met once a week for 2 and a half hours but the time always seemed to fly by. Participation, the midterm and a film review were the only grades given. No final which was nice. She is really interesting and knows a lot about the material.

EXTREMELY tough but worth it. Go to class without fail, READ AND KNOW THE ASSIGNMENTS, answer the questions you DO KNOW so she won't call on you when you don't know. Don't procrastinate. Get to the point on your presentations. Get your papers proofread by the TA. STUDY VERY HARD for the oral midterm. After that it is a breeze. GOOD LUCK!

Excellent teacher! One of the best at KSU. However, she has her downfalls. She is somewhat narcissistic and self-absorbed. She seems to think her projects and goals should be top priority for everyone including students. If you have to back out of something in order to take care of yourselfr, even if it seems very small, she may never speak to

One of the best professors at KSU. The class was hard and the workload was slightly overwhelming, but completely, totally worth it. Though extremely busy outside of KSU, she does her best to help her students, both with the specific class as well as things like internships and preparing for grad school. Highly recommended for history majors.

I took her class Holocaust: History & Meaning for a Study Abroad "Following the footsteps of Ann Frank" & she was very sweet. She is an EXTREMLY smart women. If you are ever given the chance to study abroad with her DO IT. It didn't go towards my major but would be great if you were a history major! The Hardest part was the paper. Got a B.

She is an excellent classroom speaker but she's quite impossible to satisfy in terms of writing papers for her. She has a surprising physical attractiveness about her (is it the glasses? the dark hair?). She also carries herself in an elegant, graceful manner.

This class was very difficult! The subject matter (The Holocaust) was not the hard part but rather the indecisiveness of the Prof. made this class a constant nightmare all semester long. She is very smart lady but has too much time devoted to other interests outside her time teaching at KSU.

She was a little unclear in the beginning but since then has been very helpful. She's very passionate about teaching and helping us learn to the best of our ability. I would take her again for another history class.

Thinks everyone wants to curate museums, they just don't know it yet. One of the most awful classes I ever took was museum studies. Rather than studying museums (like the course description), we curated an entire exhibit from scratch. Too much work in too short of a period of time. Totally disorganized. Work was done by few, and slackers were ignored. Large part of the final grade was peer-review. After all the work put in - SHE CHANGED THE ENTIRE PROJECT. When the exhibit opened, SHE basked in the glory.

Dr. Lewis is by far one of the BEST prof I have had a KSU. She is more than willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. She does expect you to read and to write papers, but WILL help u along the way as well pre-grade your papers!
